Prevent Colorectal Cancer Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States. Early stages of colon cancer usually present no symptoms. It is highly treatable if detected early. Screening is vital to saving lives. Colonoscopy is the gold standard as it is the only test to prevent colon cancer, with its unique ability to remove polyps before they turn into cancer.
