new magic. pstairs, the crumbling gingerbread
reveals the structure of the house—European
candy bricks. As the action moves to the space
that atacha has created to entrap Grielda, the
colors change to re ect atacha's aestheticpink
rock candy walls and smooth sugar crystal oors.
Down in the catacombs, the candy infection that
has slowly started to a ect Grielda is also slowly
taking over the room and the skulls nearest to her
co n. It was built as predestruction apart from
the co n, which had panels replaced and chunks
specifi cally built to come o and F created the
disaster. pecial e ects and the set decoration
department fi lled in the practical candy debris.
