Zoom? What's a Zoom? You know that moment where you hear yourself turning into your parents? My job interview for Kenan took place March 20, 2020, only a few days into the COVID-19 pandemic that shut down all of Hollywood and the better part of the world in general. "Given the current state of aff airs, your interview will happen remotely" the scheduling email read. At that time, I didn't even know how Zoom worked. Was it best on a laptop or desktop screen? My cellphone? A tablet? The questions started fl ooding my head. Would crew be available and willing to work? The Kenan hero sets were to be built on Universal stages 22 and 23 and prepped and shot during the scariest days of the global COVID pandemic.
