Tim graduated from Art Center College of Design, where he currently teaches. He expanded his drawing skills into careers in the comic book, animation and film industries, but is best known as a storyboard artist. His film work ranges from Terminator 2 on through Thor, Rise of the Apes and The Help, to the recent Jurassic World, The Revenant, and Independence Day: Resurgence. Hidden away in my many portfolios are many comic book pages from projects that didn't go anywhere. Long ago, I was contacted by First Comics (extinct as the dodo now) to try out for drawing the next Elric of Melniboné miniseries, adapting one of the Moorcock novels. I turned in this page. They loved it but chose another guy who ended up screwing them on the deadline. Of course they came back to me, but there was no time left to do a good job and I was not interested in killing myself to do hack work. So I am left with this page. It remains unlettered with no character names and uncolored (all the characters look albino), so copyright shouldn't be a problem. The only thing that would give that away would be to print the little story I just wrote, but this is just between us, right?
