"'The Queen's Gambit' was actually
the last job I did before the pandemic.
A lot of the Foley happens on tables.
We were able to get a bunch of the
props — the chess clock timers and
the chess sets — from the productions.
As the chess sets get fancier and fan-
cier in the series, I was able to use the
actual props and take the time to mic
things properly."
