In her new role, she will help oversee day-to-day operations while working to bring new projects to the studio. Kaiser brings over a decade of industry experience leading VFX and post produc- tion teams, as well as a deep knowledge of establish- ing new client relationships. Before joining FuseFX, she held the title of senior vice president at Dneg, where she served as a key stakeholder in new client relationships and sales. JOEL MAGUET London-based video games creative agency Maverick Media, which is part of Keywords Studios, has appointed Joel Maguet head of studio, a promo- tion from his previous post as head of production and operations. He has more than 10 year of experience in creative production — including one and a half at Maverick — having managed both global TV commer- cials and online content. While at Maverick, Maguet helped shape relationships with clients such as The Pokémon Company, Bandai Namco and Wooga. JESSICA MUTASCIO Bi-coastal editorial house Exile has added editor Jessica Mutascio to its New York office. Her career in- cludes work on commercials, music videos, and both short and feature-length films. Mutascio is comfortable editing all genres, from ac- tion to comedy to fashion. She has collaborated with a number of high profile clients, including Mercedes- Benz, Ikea, Ford, Bank of America and Target. Along with her skills as an editor, Mutascio is also known to have a strong rapport with clients, who view her as a trusted collaborator. Her award-winning work includes the visual narrative film Backpedal, the open for Canon Shine and the music video for We Are the Brave, titled Your Ghost. ANN HAUGEN & MATT DRENIK Music studio South in Santa Monica, CA, has promoted both creative director Matt Drenik and head of production Ann Haugen to partner positions. The promotions come at the tail end of a busy 2020 for the full-service music and sound company. The current thriving operation at South is attributed in part to Drenik's leadership contributions. Since joining the mix two years ago, he has worked to develop his creative role, whether composing, briefing, mixing or simply listen- ing. As a veteran producer, Haugen's knowledge and expertise have also added to the company's success. She has an eye for resource development and team building, and was integral in bringing Drenik on board. SABRINA ELIZONDO Following the partnership between 1stAveMachine and Tronco to launch 1stAveMachine Buenos Aires, the new company has expanded its leadership team with the recent addition of executive producer Sabrina Elizondo. Formerly an EP at Timber, Elizondo brings a solution-orientated producing style. Her career includes time at WoodShop, Stardust, Brand New School, Arsenal FX, The Mill and Method. In her new role, she will act as an international liaison, increasing the visibility of 1stAve BA's capabilities across mixed media, live-action and animation in the US market. HARV GLAZER Creative production studio Nice Shoes in NYC has promoted executive producer Harv Glazer to ex- ecutive creative director. He will oversee the global creative team, creative strategies and add new talent to the Nice Shoes roster. Glazer is an award-winning director, producer and EP with over 20 years of experience. He has shot and produced music videos for Drake, Rihanna, Shaggy, Blink 182 and Snoop Dogg to name a few. Most recently, he was nominated at the 2021 Grammy Awards for Best Music Video for producing Future + Drake's Life is Good with Director X. ALEX PIRRONE Boutique post production shop Wax has added New York-based, multifaceted commercial and film editor Alex Pirrone. Influenced by nonfiction content and a love for automobiles and comedy, Pirrone favors a cinéma vérité-style, often bringing to life narratives from the visuals on hand. Most recently, Pirrone edited Ford's multi-part, long-form series, Mustang Mach-E v Everything. Other notable campaigns in- clude Seinhessier's Athlete (directed by Sam Pilling) for Momentum III Wireless, IBM's Dear Tech, and Kraken Rum's A Tale Well Told. Beyond advertising, he has also been involved in short-form narratives, such as the short documentary Màs Fuerte, and A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness, which won "Best Documentary (Short Subject)" at the Academy Awards. DILLON STONEBURNER Creative editorial house Final Cut has promoted Dillon Stoneburner to their editing roster in the Los Angeles office. Stoneburner has been an assistant editor at Final Cut for six years. Hailing from Detroit, Stoneburner made the move to Los Angeles just out of college and landed his first job in the city as a runner at Final Cut. He then began to climb the ranks, becoming vault manager before moving to the cutting room. The young editor found mentorship and encouragement in the editing bays at Final Cut, and honed his skills under the tutelage of Jeff Buchanan, Zoe Schack, Rick Russell and Joe Guest. He has collaborated on projects for Amazon, Doritos, Xfinity, Squarespace, Audi, Uber and Budweiser.
