ASSOCIATION GOVERNANCE SPRING 2021 | ADVOCATE 11 Arizona offers many opportunities to our students. We will have to look beyond the beauty (and challenges) of our state to truly support the learning of our students. Just like teachers have to look outside their classrooms. I ask for your support as I seek new opportunities to serve, to learn and to grow. Address: 7548 E. While I am the first educator in my family, education has always been a priority growing up. My parents went out of the way to send me to schools and programs with great teachers and would allow me to grow and thrive in class to be a successful adult. When I decided to enter education, my goal was to create rich learning environments for my students so they too could benefit from an exceptional educational experience in public school. While I was able to do that in my classroom, I have learned that giving that opportunity to all students in Arizona requires more than just me making a great room for a handful of students. It means advocating and working so that all teachers have the resources and support they need to help all students. Intending to make the educational scene in Arizona one that all students can benefit from, I ask for your vote in electing me to the AEA Board of Directors.
