His older sister opened a vintage shop in Montebello while he was in high school. He became its youngest buyer. De La Cruz attended fashion design school at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and shortly after graduating, opened Luxe de Ville. He specialized in selling his own creations and the early Victorian to 1970s clothing that inspired him. Over the years, he has added 1980s, 1990s, and contemporary, plus the work of independent local artists. Luxe de Ville has always worked with costume designers, in addition to creating custom pieces for an array of celebrity clients. They offer 24-hour studio pulls with a 30% purchase or restocking fee. @luxe_de_ville Etsy.com/shop/luxedeville
