So look for requests for information and opinions from your EIPMA representatives regarding this subject. We hope to have an EIPMA Report on Equipment Standards for Educational Institutions available early next year. Our website is updating as we slowly adapt to our organization's needs. Please note that we have added a "History" to our "About Us" page which mentions how EIPMA formed out of the desire of the Motion Picture Sound Editors to honor Paul Rodriguez, former longtime Board member of the MPSE, who helped and mentored so many entering into the world of sound post-production. Speed Mentoring continues, Karen Dunn holds sessions centering on the music industry. In December, Karen held a Speed Mentoring session with music students from BYU. On January 9, EIPMA held a Speed Mentoring session for current graduate students in the School of Theater, Film, and Television department at UCLA. We are certainly looking forward to getting over this pandemic hump, to when we will be able to open up hands-on programs such as our shadowing opportunities for students and educators, along with in-person events… Yes, remember those days? They will return in due time, but for now, we adapt and continue to reach out. Please visit: eipma.org EIPMA 2020-2021 2020 was a tough year and our winter into 2021 continues to be bumby.
