stunt 17 times: A large
crane would lift him
10 feet in the air and
40 feet backwards,
and then simulate a
dramatic and heart-
pounding fall. Two feet
from the ground, the
stunt coordinator was
supposed to push
a button to release
"Charles" (not his
real name), making
the stunt look real
but leaving him with
just a few bruises from
a short drop to concrete.
