EXOSKELETONS

In my dual roles as a height-
challenged Boom Operator and
Chair of the Injury Prevention
Committee at IATSE Local 695,
I have spent the last two years
testing exoskeletons to determine
if they are a viable support
system for boom operators in
avoiding repetitive injuries due to
excessive takes. In my previous
articles, I've articulated which
exoskeletons best fi t our needs.
