"[These are] two-inch-thick sound foam that we've put in a pattern. I've got three 4x3 panels hanging up there. When I did the original sound measurements, they were recommending to have at least 48 square feet of coverage in the room, so behind me I've got these. Then, up in front by the screen, I've got some just to help absorb all the reflections." "I've got an old cast-iron wood-burning stove that we haven't used that just happened to be here. We've kept that and the brick wall that's there. It's a tank. Before, there was a lot of airflow that would go out of there, so we kind of sealed it up because we don't use it. It's a nice little feature and gives the room some character." "I've got the Lego Death Star, which the family bought me for Christmas one year, and I selfishly put the thing all together by myself—to the chagrin of my son. He likes to come down and set it up or to change the characters around. I grew up with 'Star Wars,' like so many others, and that's part of my DNA, I'm sure somewhere, in wanting to get into this crazy business. Up higher on the shelf, I have the Cloud City carbon-freezing chamber for Han Solo. 'The Empire Strikes Back' is one of those movies that I just connected with. "It's history. I brought all these lit- tle things and trinkets and knickknacks that I've accumulated over the years." 32 C I N E M O N T A G E B A Y A R E A
