Prior to the pandemic, my main focus was on premium scripted episodic. I just Jessica Hernández PICTURE EDITOR, ACE finished "Grand Army" for Netflix which should drop in August. Prior to that was "Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Mad- am C. J. Walker," also for Netflix. Q Describe your job. On the creative end, I assemble all aspects of the film (picture, temp sound, temp music, temp sfx) and carve out its pace, tone, and performance. The process can feel a lot like a puzzle, or maybe more like a Jenga because moving one element can often send everything tumbling. Q How did you first become interested in this line of work?
