Mommie Dearest was released in 1981 and depicts
the abusive and traumatic adopted upbringing of
Christina Crawford at the hands of her mother,
actress oan rawford. The film was based on an
autobiography of the same name by Christina.
The illustration is done in opaque watercolor and
graphite on illustration board. The sketch is signed
by David J. Negron. He is not credited as a storyboard
artist or Illustrator on the show but has a long list of
movie credits, some of which are: King Kong, Star Trek:
The Motion Picture, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Masters
of the Universe.
The Production Designer is Bill Malley who is also
known for The Exorcist, The Fury, 12 Angry Men (TV
movie) and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985-86) to
name a few.
