LMGI COMPASS

Fall 2019
to see doing some other job. And the sense of gratification
I feel every time I finish a project, especially a difficult
and demanding one. But most of all, I love meeting new
people. People who tell me stories and who give sense to
the places I visit.
Stevie: WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR
YOUNGER SELF OR SOMEONE JUST STARTING OUT IN THIS
PROFESSION?
MS:
1. When looking for locations, always ask questions.
2. Never say no to a coffee.
3. Always talk to strangers; you might get another location
just by listening to what they have to say.
4. If you have a weekend off, enjoy it to the fullest. You
never know when there'll be another one.
5. If you struggle to find a location, take a break and wait.
Good things always come to those who can wait.
Stevie: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE LMGI & HOW LONG
HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER?
MS:
The decision was made about three years ago when
I first heard about LMGI. It was in Łód´z and I was a tour
guide showing my town to a group of location managers
on an LMGI Fam Tour. I officially became a member in
January 2019.
