22 • THE ARTISAN SUMMER 2019 GUILD NEWS CRAFT EDUCATION Gail Ryan Rhonda thanked hair stylists Kenneth Walker, Mary Mastro and Janet Moore with beautiful certificates. Tiphanie Baum Sunday, February 17, more than 50 Local 706 hair stylists attended their first hair craft meeting of the year. Hair education from Gail Ryan featured her tips and tricks on how to do a French twist, followed by a wig cap application for a front lace wig. Tiphanie Baum demonstrated how to build a Marie Antoinette wig and how to finger-wave dry hair for a finished look. Production education from Overtone showed how to use their hair colors and Alterna Hair Care gave a product demo on how to use their hair products. Larchmont Wine and Cheese provided the food for the meeting. Raffle prizes were given away during the meeting; Porshawna Mosely won a Stylus gift set, as well as $100 gift card from Frends for having 480 Instagram likes on her post thanking our sponsors. Frends gift card winners were Erica Adams ($100) and Barry Lee Moe ($100). Nigel's Gift card winners were Darrell Fielder ($100) and Michelle Payne ($150, not pictured). Leah Rutledge won Champion Fleece overalls. Special thank you to Hair Craft President Rhonda O'Neal for putting together a wonderful and educational hair craft meeting.
