social events. The 102nd
floor sun-filled observatory
presents commanding
50-mile views. The event
showcased the unique
locations at the World Trade
Center's 16-acre site. The
collective hosts delivered
a sincere welcome to the
location scout community
with open invitations for
cooperative visits and
production solutions.
New York-based LMGI
members networked the
benefits of Guild membership
to various attendees and
directly to the hosts. An
incredible sunset topped off
the truly special event with
one of the finest views in the
United States. The privilege of
being part of this unforgettable
event was a reminder of the
respect and importance of the
location scout/manager role
In March, Guild members
attended the World Trade
Center Film & TV Scout
Showcase presented by
the Port Authority of New
York & New Jersey in
partnership with the New York
State Governor's Office of
Motion Picture & Television
Development.
The successful event was
held in the "Aspire" space at
One World Observatory. This
9,000-square-foot event
space atop New York's tallest
Scouting at
New Heights:

at Manhaan's
