The Arizona Progressive Candidate Training Program provides the nuts and bolts of putting together an effective campaign for local, state, and congressional offices, as well as developing the leadership quality necessary to advance progressive change. Beth Meyers from Leading for Change and Arizona Representative Chad Campbell will be conducting this training. Graduates of this program who recently won in the 2012 election include state representatives Jonathan Larkin, Stefanie Mach, and Martin Quezada, and school board members Lawrence Robinson, Julie Cozad, Linda Thomas, and Will Roberts. Graduates who won previous elections include Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Flagstaff City Council Member Celia Barotz, and school board members Matt Jewett, Jimmie Munoz, Liz Mesa, Rosemary Arthur, and Tom Bagnall. This intensive six-day-long training will give future candidates the opportunity to explore what it takes to run for office. The fee for this training is $300 and includes the cost of materials, trainings, and lunch per workshop. WHERE AEA headquarters 345 E.
