The Loch & Union team made their American Dry Gin after testing 150 botanicals and distilling 100-plus ingredients to find the ideal flavor profile. The final product features 12 botanicals sourced from ten countries. Imported by Frederick Wildman & Sons, Scotland's Edinburgh Gin has a new lineup of mixable, 40-proof liqueurs. We particularly loved the Rhubarb Ginger, Elderflower, and Raspberry flavors. Another product on our radar is sweet-potato liqueur Corbin Cash. In addition to running the distillery in Atwater, CA, founder David Souza still oversees a sweet potato farm in California's San Joaquin Valley. Corbin Cash is aged for a minimum of three years at 120 proof in custom-charred American white oak barrels. The gluten-free spirit is then infused with a mix of winter spices, including cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Souza also produces a sweet-potato blended whiskey with grain added in, as well as a vodka and a gin.
