Moses will repre- sent Visit KC in the key meetings market of Washington, D.C., as well as the Northeast U.S. region. Moses brings extensive experience to the team, as he previously worked for Loews Hotels for a combined 16 years, among other roles in the industry. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, such as the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and the Religious Conference Management Association. Moses is a graduate of Harcum College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. DAYTON CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES & SERVICES, AUVIS COLE The Dayton/Montgomery County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to welcome Auvis Cole as the new director of Sales & Services. Cole, who grew up in Dayton, comes to the Dayton CVB from the Rock Hill/York County CVB in Rock Hill, South Carolina where he most recently served as the Vice President of Sales. He spent eight years there in a variety of positions, and prior to that was the Executive Director of the Union County Tourism Commission in Union County, South Carolina. "We are excited to have Auvis join our team. His broad experience coupled with his education and lead- ership skills will serve as valuable assets to our CVB" states Jacquelyn Y. Powell president & CEO of the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau. Cole has a bachelor of arts in communications from Central State University and an MBA from Wright State University in international business and marketing. He fills a vacated position at the Dayton CVB and will lead a team of four sales managers. MANIRAJ NADARASA JOINS KUAI LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE TEAM The Kuala Lumpur Concention Centre (the Centre) is proud to announce the appointment of Maniraj Nadarasa as its new Head of Safety and Security. Nadarasa brings with him over a decade of safety and secu- rity experience in the hospitality industry. Welcoming Nadarasa to the esteemed team at the Centre, Alan Pryor, general manager, shared, "We are pleased to have Maniraj join our growing family. We are confident that his background in security operations and risk assessments will further enhance the safety and security of the Centre and our guests and visitors. Our team will leverage from his expertise in risk analysis and management and the application of advanced technological assistance in existing security processes and procedures."
