While these may be starstudded affairs, we must say they've got nothing on Napa when it comes to hosting a party. In early November, wine country's inest (celebrities in their own right here at THE TASTING PANEL) gathered in a tour de force of cinematic and vinomatic proportions to celebrate the launch of SOMM, the soonto-be-widely-released documentary that chronicles the journey of four wine experts as they prepare for the grueling Master Sommelier exam. After the screening, spirits were high at the fest's launch party, where THE TASTING PANEL, in honor of our Year of the Artisan Brand, hosted a top-notch craft spirit bar, featuring cocktails that added a bit of spirit to this wine country fête.
