MVPs THE THE TASTING PANEL TEAMS UP WITH 16 WINERIES AT DODGER STADIUM TO DETERMINE THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER FROM EACH PORTFOLIO photos by Jeremie Fremaux I t was the last game of the 2011 season at Dodger Stadium, and two of Major League Baseball's greatest rivals were pitted against one another: the Los Angeles Dodgers versus the San Francisco Giants. For the occasion, we brought together our own line-up of MVPs at The TASTING PANEL's fi rst-ever invitational wine event held at Dodger Stadium's Dugout Club. To call the plays, we invited a team of some of the biggest names in the wine biz. Together, this team of umpires faced the diffi cult task of calling out the wines that were clear home runs. Needless to say, with each winery's top sluggers at bat, the runs kept piling in! Here's the box score from this all-star showcase.
