One of the Northern Arapaho elders, Leona, held Storytelling sessions during the Wind River Youth Festival. here she is recounting how the tribal name "Gros Ventre" came about. On Friday night, after the students were done with the Wind River Student Festival, many danced in the Eastern Shoshone Powwow in Fort Washakie. WEA President Vetter spending time with students from Wyoming Indian High School students and learning about their community. One of the stations at the Wind River Youth Festival was virtual reality game station. Wyoming Indian School first grader Tutu drew her powwow picture in the art station at the conference.
