Jogger has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Austin, TX. Cheng joins the studio with over a decade of visual effects expertise. Her credits include Nike's Equality and Vapor Trail spots, as well as Samsung's first Super Bowl spot, Thing Called Love and Audi's Force of Nature. As senior producer at The Mission, her clients included 20th Century Fox, Leo Burnett, Tool of North America, ESPN and Paramount. She also enjoyed a five-year tenure at Asylum, where she worked with director David Fincher. JANIN KERR, TAYLOR AMAZAN, RICHARD HELLSTERN Culver City, CA's Riptide Music Group has expanded its creative team by naming Janine Kerr, former VP with FOX Sports Music, creative director, while Taylor Amazan, former music supervisor and music producer with Ant Farm, will now serve as creative manager for trailers. Richard Hellstern has been promoted to VP of operations. Kerr will be responsible for placing the company's music within film, TV and pro- mos, as well as overseeing Riptide's Licensing Department. As Riptide's creative manager, trailers, Amazan (formally Taylor Horton from Ant Farm) will work closely with Riptide's roster of composers and artists to create and produce ex- citing music for the trailer community. As Riptide Music's vice president of operations, Hellstern brings together his experience in finance, publishing, writing and producing to be an effective head of daily operations. LARISSA BERRINGER Framestore has added Larissa Berringer to its Chicago team as business development man- ager. Berringer is an experienced multimedia producer, with significant credits across film, television and advertising. Her career kicked off on the hit Showtime series Weeds, where she worked alongside show creator Jenji Kohan. Switching to VFX, Berringer joined Vitamin Pictures in Chicago where, as executive producer, she handled projects for a wealth of clients spanning ad agencies, Fortune 500 companies and accomplished directors. KATE OWEN UK-born, New York-based editor Kate Owen has joined post boutique Wax, which has offices in Manhattan and Boston. She brings nearly two decades of experience cutting commercials and film projects. Owen's credits span fashion, beauty, lifestyle and entertainment projects for brands that include Gucci, Victoria Beckham, Vogue, Adidas, Sony, Showtime and Virgin Atlantic. She's worked with editorial companies Marshall Street Editors and Whitehouse Post. ROB DI FIGLIA LA-based GPL Technologies has appointed Rob Di Figlia to the newly-created post of VP of software services. A former executive with Autodesk, where for the past three years, he served as business development executive for the company's M&E division, Di Figlia will work with enterprise-level clients in integrating software solutions in areas including high- performance computing, cloud migration and virtual production. Di Figlia brings nearly 20 years of senior level experience across visual effects, animation, project management and pipeline engineering. NICK PIPER Bicoastal production company, Rocket Film, continues to bolster its directorial roster by signing commercial, short film and docu- mentary filmmaker, Nick Piper. A visually-driv- en storyteller with a background as a VFX artist and supervisor, Piper has spent over two decades honing his craft at such production companies as Backyard, B-Reel and Santa Monica-based VFX studio, Chemical Effects. His work has included digital effects for the Innertube Super Bowl spot for Pepsi to more recent directing efforts for such brands as Google, GM, Hyundai, Nissan, Home Depot and P&G. MARIA CARRETERO Framestore has added Maria Carretero to its global color team. Based in Chicago, Carretero will work across a broad remit of clients. Carretero began her career as a colorist at Deluxe in Spain and has since been her around the globe, grading commercial work for the brand world, alongside a long list of both feature and short films. Recent work includes Jeep's Recalculating, Disney's You Can Fly and Bella Notte, as well as a string of Porsche campaigns.
