merging leaders from across the state
participated in an intensive two-session
program to develop leadership skills and
Association knowledge. About 30 Association
members, hand-picked by their local
presidents, attended AEA Leaders Academy
held in Prescott, Arizona last month.
The Academy builds members' confidence
levels and effectiveness as they grow into
assuming up-front roles in their own locals.
Relationship building was a part of the
personal leadership development process
participants went through at the Academy,
creating a community of local leaders who
will support each other in building their local
capacity.
