HURRICANE RELIEF FOR MEMBERS T he SAG-AFTRA Foundation and the SAG-AFTRA Motion Picture Players Welfare Fund have created a Hurricane Relief Fund specically to provide nancial support grants to SAG-AFTRA members affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The Actors Fund has partnered with the two organiations to provide the social services and coordinate the grant reviews and approvals. Donations to this crucial effort may be made online at sagaftrafoundation.org donate. SAG-AFTRA members are eligible to apply for the Hurricane Relief Fund if they are currently active and have paid their dues through April , , and have been affected by the storms and ooding. The meeting was held to discuss the safety of photographers, reporters and anchors when in the eld. The next one will take place in the coming months.
