The Crabby Mary at Obrycki's at Baltimore- Washington International is the perfect pre-flight pick-me-up. WHERE WE'RE EATING A NEW WAVE OF GOOD AIRPORT EATS by Merrill Shindler W rapping up a recent trip to Japan, I decided to leave for Narita International Airport an hour early. This was not because I was tired of Tokyo—how can one tire of one of the world's most ceaselessly entertaining cities?—or because I was concerned about traffic. It was because I had heard that one of Tokyo's best sushi bars, Sushi Kyotatsu, is in Terminal One. Not long ago, the notion of going to an airport to eat would have been laughable—and the results possibly poisonous. But airports across the world, and certainly in the U.S., now offer not just good food, but food worth going to the airport for. This isn't true for all airports—there are still plenty where you risk your stomach on a greaseburger and a bag of potato chips. But there are others where, yes, the trip through security is worthwhile, even if you have to throw away your Diet Snapple in the process.
