As a teacher NEA made an offer to join NEA Life for $25 a year for 10 years, I did. What a good deal. Over the years I've been a Delegate to 5 NEA Representative Assemblies. I chaired the Credentials committee and served on several AEA committees, I served two times as President of the Roosevelt CTA. In 1996 with the offer of a buyout I retired after 37 years of teaching in the Roosevelt School District in Phoenix. I'm now a Retired member that volunteers at one of my grandson's school.
