Here, he takes the education of the consumer and his staff seriously and strives to take the mystery and ego out of wine by composing a diverse list in a fun and approachable way. Brian Bauer: I'm happy to be here with you today. Tell me a little about your journey in the wine industry. Patrick Olds: My parents never drank wine. My grandpa worked for local breweries, but that was the extent of beverage influence in my family.
