Capsule Collection Lyn Paolo has teamed up with CALA to present her new capsule cloth- ing collection. Paolo says she is inspired by "the amazingly powerful, determined, intelligent, and feminine women that I work with in my career, and by my stunningly wonderful friends." It is in this light that she named each piece after a few of the talented ladies in her life. Andrew Wyatt, CEO and Co-founder of CALA explains, "The power of CALA's next-generation fashion platform is that we make it possible for creatives of every kind to bring a high-quality clothing collection to life quickly and with low upfront costs." The CALA platform is designed so that shoppers can search through designers' catalogues. After making a selection, the customer takes three photos of themselves using the app, which uploads them to the system. Rather than traditional sizes, tape measures, and fittings, the system uses those photographs to create a garment based on the customer's exact body measurements. The custom-fitted garment is then delivered directly to the customer in a few days. "With this amazing team of talented people, I felt safe and secure and that they understand my crazy pursuit of perfection in design. I also know that this technology will be instrumental in the creation of custom-designed and fit pieces for both film and television as well as in our personal lives."
