JC Backings at Sony Studios
JC Backings is once again opening up the doors to
its historic scenic studio on the Sony Pictures Studios
lot (formerly MGM) to showcase backings from
famous feature films and television shows; it is open
to all ADG members and friends of the Guild.
Come and view exceptional backdrops,
representative of a wide cross section of genres
and techniques. This is a rare opportunity, one that
should be shared with all who admire our craft and
its traditions. View these paintings within the historic
MGM scenic studio, where many of them were
originally created. This is the oldest continuously
operating motion picture scenic studio in the
industry, and it was designed specifically to create
photo-realistic artworks on a titanic scale for the
Hollywood motion picture.
