With the recent release of their Bourbon Barrel- Aged Chardonnay (SRP $13.99), Robert Mondavi Private Selection has solved at least one of these modern conundrums faced by consumers today. Shipped to all 50 states in early March, the first release of this bourbon barrel–aged white wine has landed on the market to radiant reviews. "Bourbon is such a hot item right now," says Jason Dodge, Senior Director of Winemaking for Robert Mondavi Private Selection. Coming hot off the success of their Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon, released in January of 2016, Dodge felt that the marriage of Chardonnay and bourbon would be a match made in heaven.
