43 Nearly 600 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners competed under perfect fall weather conditions at the SODE Fall Sports Festival on Oct. 30-31 at St. Andrew's School in Middletown. Preliminary competition in volleyball and bocce began on Oct. 30th, and competition continued in both sports along with round-robin tournaments in flag football and Unified soccer Oct. 31. A 5K run and Young Athletes demonstration was also held. More than 150 coaches were involved along with the entire St. Andrew's community, making for an amazing weekend for all.
