Special Olympics Delaware celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge in 2016, where just a week prior, a late
January nor'easter battered the shoreline and flooded beaches. The Plunge is held annually at Rehoboth Beach
on the first Sunday in February, and is Special Olympics Delaware's most significant fundraiser.
