people GREG DOLAN Xytech, based in London and Mission Hills, CA, has promoted Greg Dolan from EVP to COO in order to accommodate growth worldwide, especially in Europe and Asia. He has been with the facility management software company since 2009. Dolan joined Xytech after a decade at ScheduAll. Prior to that, he held senior positions, including CIO of the New York Media Group and manager of budget systems for Sedgwick James. DOLAN LORENZO BOMBICCI Lorenzo Bombicci, an award-winning editor from Argentina, has joined Upstairs Miami's roster of creative editors for the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. He has worked on proj- ects for Coke, Axe, Rexona, Pepsi, Honda, Fiat, Telecom, Renault, Fanta and Nestle, to name just a few. He is a graduate of two film schools in Buenos Aires. TURNER MATT TURNER VFX house Absolute in London has added colorist Matt Turner to its grading department. He will lead the integration of the agency's new grading suite and oversee specialized talent development at the studio. Most recently, Turner was director of color grading at Rushes in Lon- don. Prior to that, he was in Los Angeles as senior colorist at Company 3. Before moving to the US, he had a five-year run at Framestore London, working as senior colorist. He also spent nine years at The Mill in London. GRATTAROLA SIMONE GRATTAROLA London's Rushes has named Simone Grat- tarola as director of color grading. Grattarola, who has graded commercials, music videos, fea- tures and digital campaigns, will lead the grading team in London while working with the VFX creatives at Rushes. This 12-year color grading vet sees the colorist as an integral part of the cre- ative chain, where the art director, lighting cam- eraman, make-up artist and colorist can all work together to define a directors' vision. He is also now available for remote realtime grading throughout Rushes' virtual outposts network in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. Andrew Marshall is an Emmy-winning designer with eight years of experience in broadcast animation. Previously, he had been a lead designer and animator at Aerodrome Pictures since 2006. GURNEY ROBIN GURNEY, BRIAN SWARTH Showtime Networks in LA has named Robin Gurney as its new senior VP, original program- ming. Her responsibilities will include develop- ment and creative oversight of Showtime origi- nal series. Before joining Showtime, Gurney was senior executive VP of development and pro- duction for Imagine Television. Prior to that, she was senior VP of development at Berlanti-Lid- dell. She held the same title at Francis Ford Cop- pola's American Zoetrope. Showtime Networks in New York has named Brian Swarth as its new VP, group director, digital services. He will oversee all mobile, digi- tal creative and marketing, technology and production, iTV and digital content production groups within the digital media group, as well as drive external digital partnerships. Previously, he was managing director of digital client strat- egy at Zemoga. Prior to that, he was at MTV Networks. He has a BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. SVET IGAL SVET Miami's 2C Media has named Igal Svet as its VP of development. He will spearhead the company's unscripted development slate, and pitch and sell projects. Most recently, Svet was the producer on a range of major cable net- work series, including truTV's Full Throttle Saloon, History's Top Gear and Lifetime's Love Handles.
