Winter 2017 The Costume Designer 57 BFN - PRESS CD Nancy Steiner talked to the Elle magazine online about her work on the upcoming Showtime series Twin Peaks, created by Mark Frost and David Lynch, which includes many original cast members, including Kyle MacLachlan. Steiner's punk rock roots infuse any project she takes on with authenticity. She talks about her journey from punk rock to videos, from indie films to features and television. Recently interviewed for an article in the Los Angeles Times for designing The Young Pope, CD Carlo Poggioli tells how he got his inspiration from papal shoes on display in the Vatican Museums. Each morning before shooting, Poggioli and director Paolo Sorrentino would decide in which scenes Law would wear the "Ferraris" for this new HBO series. In the season 5 marketing campaign for The Mindy Project, Hulu created an ad around CD Salvador Perez's costumes for the show. Perez was thrilled, to say the least.
