If you have any names to include from 2016, please email the name, position and school to sclark@wyoea.org How Can You Become A Delegate? Locals Each local is allocated a certain number of delegates based on size. Contact your Local President or UniServ Director to be considered as a delegate in your local. WEA Retired This year WEA-Retired has been apportioned 26 delegates in total. Please contact Cherie Cox at ccox@wyoea.org if you would like to serve as a WEA-Retired delegate. WEA Students If you would like to represent SWEA as a delegate, please contact Coleen Haines at chaines@wyoea.org. 85th Wyoming Education Associaton 2017 April 7-9 CASPER WEA Would Like To Invite All Members To Consider Serving As A Delegate to the 85th Delegate Assembly http://www.neafoundation.org/pages/global-learning-fellowship/ The NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship offers educators 12 months of professional development opportunities to support educators as they cultivate global competence skills and build global lesson plans that are shared with educators around the world. What is Delegate Assembly? It is the annual meeting of the WEA that is held in order to define the policies of the Association, adopt or amend the Bylaws, Platforms and New Business items based on recent changes in the field of education or other pertinent events/changes. The Program and Budget submitted by the Board of Directors is also evaluated.
