It's a pretty, floral red that has hints of lavender and crushed roses on the nose. On the palate it hints of pomegranate and stewed plums. —Alex Basich SEEKING IMPORTER Domaine Vaquer, Cuvée Bernard 2014, AOP Côtes du Roussillon Full power and balance on the notes. Depth of flavor tannins and balance. Full mouth and flavor. Long finish. I would pair this with short ribs. —Charles Lockhart HAND PICKED SELECTIONS Domain Trilles Initiation 2014, AOP Côtes du Roussillon Blackberry, sweet tobacco, cracked pepper, juniper and rosemary and blackberry skin like tannins. It's a really pretty and refreshing wine for such a warm climate. Just a bit of that violet and sweet tart floral. Tobacco, leather, garrigue complimenting the profundity of the name.
