PEOPLE www.postmagazine.com 56 POST JULY 2016 MARIA CARRETERO, DEVON TAYLOR Creative studio Carbon welcomes new talent to its recently launched Chicago office with Devon Taylor and Maria Carretero coming on board as VFX supervisor/Flame artist and lead colorist, respectively. Carretero joins the studio after ce- menting her credentials as a colorist for over 15 years in her native Madrid. During her career, the post vet has collabo- rated with Mercedes, Vodafone and Coca-Cola. Before Carbon, Taylor spent nearly two decades honing his VFX skills in both Europe and the United States, launching and running his own shops in Scandinavia, and serving as a senior Flame artist/VFX supervisor at Animal in Pittsburgh. ANDREA MACARTHUR, AMANDA PERRY Lost Planet, with locations in both NY and LA, has added Andrea MacArthur and Amanda Perry to its roster of editors. MacArthur brings a wealth of industry ex- perience, having co-founded Whitehouse Post Editorial and launched her own oper- ation, Peepshow Post Productions. During her career, MacArthur has cut projects for Nike, Xbox, Pepsi, Levi's and Lexus. Perry has longstanding ties with MacArthur, having partnered at Peepshow in 2002. Her credits include work for Levi's, Orange, PlayStation, Nike, Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz and Ford. MacArthur Perry MICHAEL EAMES Framestore has appointed animator Michael Eames as global director of animation (film). Eames will be based in London, with responsibility for Framestore's diverse teams of animation artists across both London and Montreal. Eames has worked within animation on such VFX- intensive pictures as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and Children of Men (2006). Most re- cently, he worked in the role of animation supervisor on the blockbusters Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. He returns to Framestore after first arriving in 2000, when he served as animation supervisor. PAUL KELLY, JEFF STEVENS, ANN LUPO, WILLIAM ZITSER NYC-based Uppercut welcomes several new editors to its roster. Paul Kelly, who co-founded Beast NY and maintained his role as film editor for over a decade while also working as a music composer for several artists, worked with top brands including Walmart, Toyota, Comcast and State Farm. He's currently working on a will.i.am documentary directed by Michael Jurkovac. Jeff Stevens, who co-founded FeedTheWalrus prior to joining Wildchild to serve as senior editor, has worked with such top brands as Pepsi, Reebok, Amazon and Powerade. Ann Lupo worked for several years with Supply & Demand director Mac Premo on projects such as the Ford F-150 national campaign, U2 music videos, a Conde Nast/Kanye West featurette and the Vimeo Staff Picked Bucket Board short film. She is currently working on her autobiographical indie film, In Reality, for which she serves as writer, director, producer, editor and star. William Zitser spent over a decade establishing his editorial and creative directing talents with Jump and Kyle Edit before assuming his new role. He has worked with brands such as Mercedes, Cheerios, Hershey's and Kate Spade. DEBORAH SULLIVAN The Artery VFX in NY has added ad agency and com- mercial industry head of production Deborah Sullivan to its team in the role of executive producer and managing director. Most recently managing director and executive producer for NO6 and Peepshow Post, Sullivan has also led advertising production depart- ments for DDB NY, FCB and others. She was a found- ing partner of independent agency Berlin Cameron and Partners. Her career also included executive producer posts with @Radical.media, Red Dog Films and The Bomb Factory. One of Sullivan's first projects for the company was producing a five-spot smart cars campaign for Merkley+Partners. GEORGIA DODSON Boutique editorial company/creative collective Wax in NYC has added Georgia Dodson to its roster of ed- itors. She brings a heartfelt and passionate docu-style of editing to the studio. Dodson collaborated with Everynone and Droga5 on Prudential's Day One Stories, which won a Gold Lion at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This led to her cutting other high-profile projects, such as Droga5's Super Bowl spot for Prudential, Love Less Ordinary films with Claire Cottrell for Dove Chocolate/BBDO, the Say More film with Jonty Toosey for Hershey's/Arnold, and "Fueled By the Future/Back to the Future" campaign for Toyota/Droga5. CHRIS NOELLERT LA-based studio ArsenalCreative has added Chris Noellert as head of 2D. Noellert brings over 20 years of VFX, Flame and post experience to ArsenalCreative. He has served as VFX supervisor at Chimney, Syndicate and Mirada Studios, and most re- cently spent nearly four years at Carbon VFX, where he held the title of creative director/lead Flame artist. He's now working on projects that include the "Not Just New, Better" campaign for Hyundai, a revamped logo rollout and brand campaign for Principal Financial, and unfurling 17 Web films for Toyota in part- nership with Saatchi & Saatchi LA.
