ILM and Weta Digital were two of the main visual effects houses on the film, with many others also contributing. ILM created the digital NYC the characters populate as well as Hulk, using scans, molds and mocap of actor Mark Ruffalo. Weta created the Helicarrier explosion as well as the "Mountain Top Battle." The film was cut on Avids by Jeffrey Ford and Lisa Lassek.
