March 2016 isea.org • ISEA Communiqué 12 EFT The Iowa State Education Association's Electronic Funds Transfer dues payment system is a quick and easy method to pay local, state and national association dues without having to go through the school district. Your UniServ office is the primary contact when you chose to enroll in EFT. Benefits of EFT include: • Personal Control: EFT places all association business where it should be – with you! No more going through your employer to make sure all amounts and paperwork are correct. • Monthly Deducations: Arrange EFT and all future payments are set. Payments will be taken directly out of your account on the first business day of every month. • No Paperwork: The funds are transferred with no worry and no extra charge to you. No more going through your school district's accounting system. The Iowa State Education Association believes so strongly in the member advantages of EFT that everyone who enrolls in the program is automatically entered into association-wide and unit specific raffles. Here are some of the winners from this school year's drawings. Pleasantville Education Association President Lori Kreykes (left) hands an EFT check to member Jen Worthington. South Tama County Elementary School teacher Dawn Henley holds up the check she received for switching to Electronic Funds Transfer. Valley Southwoods teacher and West Des Moines Education Association member Samantha Beeman (left) receives a check from Polk Suburban UniServ Unit Director Wayne Bauman. Davenport Education Association's Shawn Samuelson (left) gets an EFT check from Great River UniServ Unit Director Toby Paone. Newton Community Education Association member Wendy Turner (left) is given a check from Mid Iowa UniServ Unit Director Rick Moore and NCEA Representative Susan Sheeks.
