48 The Costume Designer Winter 2016 Double Play, a bestselling novel set mostly in the 1970s, was made into a film by director Ernest Dickerson in Curacao, with an interna- tional ensemble of cast and crew. CD Dana Campbell headed up a crew of local costumers. CD Antoinette Messam wrapped production at the end of 2015 on the feature film Colossal, a sci-fi thriller star r ing Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis in Vancouver, BC. A busy film com- munity made for a very diverse crew and inter- esting costume department from as far away as Australia, Que- bec, Ontario, and Alberta. Spanish director Nacho Vigalondo had the team in stitches on a daily basis. CD Hope Hanafi n is back in Atlanta for Thank You for Your Service, an Amblin Entertainment feature production, directed by Jason Hall and starring Miles Teller and Haley Bennet. The project is set in 2007 in Kansas and Iraq. Cast of Double Play CD Dana Campbell CD Antoinette Messam CD Tricia Gray is currently costume designing a film in Shreve- port, Louisiana. Based on a true story, The Tale is an investigative thriller into one woman's memory that breaks apart the truth of who we think we are to reveal the stories we tell ourselves in order to survive. The all-star cast includes Laura Dern, Ellen Burstyn, Eliza- beth Debicki, Jason Ritter, John Heard, and Frances Conroy. When a young woman's narco boyfriend is murdered in Mexico, she is forced to go on the run and seek refuge in America, where she teams with an unlikely fi gure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug traf- fi cking ring that has her on the run and take over the cartel herself.
