Talent Producer Maggie Barrett-Caulfield returns for her 16th year at the SAG Awards. Over her career, she has booked talent for many of the top awards programs, including the Emmy Awards, the Tony Awards, People's Choice Awards, the American Comedy Awards and events such as the opening ceremonies for presidential inaugurations and the Special Olympics. "Booking talent for the SAG Awards has a different atmosphere from other events because everyone knows it's SAG-AFTRA members honoring other members," she says. "That sets a special tone." Event Designer Keith Greco is creating the SAG Awards' grand entrance and showroom decor. Among many recent entertainment and corporate projects, his company, Greco Decor, designed the event for the City of Hope Spirit of Life Awards and the premiere of the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. He continues to work as a creative director for Cirque du Soleil and as a contributing artist at the Coachella Music Festival, so he clearly has a flair for the unique. Event Supervisor Andrea Wyn Schall, a two-time Special Events Gala Award nominee, is coordinating the SAG Awards design and logistics elements for her 18th year. One particular moment she makes happen is the traditional Champagne Taittinger toast that opens the SAG Awards red carpet with a flourish. Wyn Schall and Greco create that ceremony. She also guides people in creating their own special occasions via her book Budget Bash – Simply Fabulous Events on a Budget. Casual viewers may not realize it, but one of the most critical aspects of the Screen Actors Guild Awards is handled by Supervising Producer Jon Brockett, who is the point person for submissions, nominations, studio and network campaigns, ticketing and, above all, the voting. "It's essential that actors know they can rely on the integrity of the SAG Awards," he says. "I take that responsibility seriously, but I have fun doing it."
