Voiceover Lab will receive new acoustic treatment lab doors and paneling. The feedback the SAG-AFTRA Foundation receives from union members who attend its career-enhancing classes, casting access workshops, voiceover labs, panels on the business side of acting, screenings and Q&As with leading actors and casts, serves as a springboard for new ideas and new resources, all of which are geared specifically to the needs of union members. All of these educational resources, career tools and opportunities to give back to the community remain absolutely free to union members, and no union dues pay for Foundation programming. This means that the SAG-AFTRA Foundation relies heavily on individual contributions, so whether you can donate a little now and more later, volunteer at events, participate in a Conversations or panel for The Business, teach one of the professional workshops in voiceover or spend a few hours reading to young students through BookPALS or Storyline Online, all of your support means that the Foundation is able to keep these essential programs running. "We hope you'll consider giving to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and if you've not yet visited our Actors Centers in Los Angeles or New York and taken advantage of the critical resources we provide, we hope you'll drop by soon and see all that we have to offer," said Cyd Wilson, executive director of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. "It's here for you, because when you have the career that you want, we have the kind of creative community that lifts up the arts — and that's something the world needs now more than ever." This holiday season, give to the new SAG-AFTRA Foundation on day one. Make an end-of-year, tax-deductible donation and help continue the Foundation's support of SAG-AFTRA members, families and communities for the next 30 years. 44 SAG-AFTRA | Fall 2015 | SAGAFTRA.org From top: At the anniversary reception, SAG-AFTRA Secretary-Treasurer Jane Austin, SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President Gabrielle Carteris, SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director and SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member David White, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member Eileen Willemborg, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member Rebecca Damon, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Executive Director Cyd Wilson, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Treasurer Maureen Donnelly, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member Abby Dylan, SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member Sharon Lawrence and SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board member Paul Pape; members attend one of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's many free workshops; an artist's rendering of the new SAG-AFTRA Foundation New York screening room set to open this summer.
