www.postmagazine.com 5 POST OCTOBER 2015 RODEO FX WINS SECOND STRAIGHT VFX EMMY FOR GAME OF THRONES MONTREAL — For the second straight year, Rodeo FX (www.rodeofx.com) won an Emmy Award for its contribution to the visual effects on Game of Thrones. The VFX studio took home the award for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects" for "The Dance of Dragons," the ninth episode of Season 5 of HBO's popular series. Matthew Rouleau, VFX supervisor at Rodeo FX, was on-hand to receive the Emmy at the ceremony. Rouleau shared the award with others involved in creat- ing the visual effects for Game of Thrones, including HBO's VFX supervisor Joe Bauer and VFX producer Steve Kullback. This is the fourth consecutive year that Game of Thrones has won an Emmy award in this category. FUSEFX WINS EMMY FOR AMERICAN HORROR STORY BURBANK — FuseFX (www.fusefx.com) won a 2015 Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Supporting Role" for their work on the American Horror Story: Freak Show episode "Edward Mordrake, Part 2."
