www.postmagazine.com 4 POST OCTOBER 2015 POST SHOW REPORT: THE 67TH ANNUAL EMMY AWARDS BY LINDA ROMANELLO LOS ANGELES — The Television Academy presented its 67 th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards live from the Microsoft Theater in LA last month, acknowledging some of Hollywood's outstanding and groundbreaking acting, writing, directing, and more in television. The broadcast, which aired on Fox and was hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg, included among its many honorees both critic and fan favorites Game of Thrones, which earned 12 awards, including "Outstanding Drama Series," "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" (Peter Dinklage, photo right), and "Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series" (David Nutter for "Mother's Mercy"). Director Jill Soloway received the "Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series" (Transparent) Emmy, and HBO's Veep (opposite page) won for "Out- standing Comedy Series." HBO's Olive Kitteridge (right, bottom) earned eight awards, including "Outstanding Limited Series" and "Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series Movie or a Dramtic Special" (Lisa Cholodenko). NBC's The Voice took home the award for "Outstanding Reality-Competition Program." Last month, the Academy also presented the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, recognizing the many talented artists behind the scenes, and honoring outstanding work in cinematography, editing, audio post, visual effects, show opens and more. In all, Emmys in 82 other categories and juried areas were pre- sented.
