As director of both the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program and the Wine program at Cabrillo College, Slater's enthusiasm for the region's wines is matched by her longtime commitment to the food and beverage arts programs that she teaches and now directs. "It's not just my job," says Slater. "It's my life's work."
