Premium Awards "Best of Show" awards give special recognition to the top spirits in specific spirit categories, as well as in the broader categories of Best White Spirits, Best Whiskey/Whisky, Best Brandy, and Best Liqueur. Each winner will receive a custom- etched plate bearing the name of the product and its Best of Show designation. "Distiller of the Year" and "Importer of the Year" awards recognize the single distiller and importer earning the most points, measured by the number and level of awards won. The Distiller and Importer of the Year will each receive a beautiful etched award plate, specially created to commemorate the accomplishment. Awards by Category Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals are pre- sented to spirits receiving a consensus vote by the panel of judges for each such award level. Double Gold Medals are reserved for those spirits that receive a unanimous vote for a Gold Medal by all judges on a panel. Medal winners will receive award certifi- cates and corresponding medallions. All entrants will be notified of results by e-mail, and a list of winning entries will be posted on our Web site following the Competition. Bottle Stickers and Medallion Artwork to Promote Your Award Double Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal winners may independently purchase self- adhesive bottle stickers to promote their awards. High-quality, high-resolution medallion artwork will also be available for repro- duction in winners' print and online promotions. National Press Coverage Promoting All Winners The Competition will announce results to all major wine, spirit, and food publications and major media in the U.S., as well as to media in the top medal winners' regional markets. The Tasting Panel Magazine, with a readership of 65,000 in the beverage trade, will report all Double Gold, Gold, and Premium Award winners in its May 2012 issue.
