He has a graduate degree from BU. HANSON KRISTEN MARTINI Nice Shoes in NYC has added post and ad agency-vet Kristen Martini as managing director. Prior to joining Nice Shoes, Martini spent six years at ad agencies, where she used her seven years experience as a producer/EP at post studios and five years experience as pro- ducer/business manager at ad agencies. During those years she spent time at Convergence, Push (Draftfcb NY's internal studio) and Digitas. MARTINI CLINT ARENT Music and sound studio Sonixphere has hired Clint Arent to the newly-created post of director of East Coast business development. Arent, who brings experience in music and mar- keting, will lead the company's sales effort on the East Coast, including growing its New York agencies relationships. Previously, Arent was managing music director of the New Jersey- based school, School of Rock for five years. He also spent time as marketing manager for Disc Makers. Arent plays bass for the progressive rock band Autumn Hour and recently toured with Metal Mike Chlasciak. STAYKOVA TANIA STAYKOVA Bi-coastal production company Stardust has hired Tania Staykova as executive producer of their New York office, where she will oversee its live-action and animation work. With more than a decade of ad agency experience producing high- profile campaigns, Staykova has already begun managing current projects while pitching new ones. She had been working with Stardust as an agency producer for the past five years while at The Martin Agency. Prior to that she was at Y&R Detroit. In the industry for over 20 years, he has earned two Emmy nominations for Best Visual Effects for Young Indiana Jones and a VES Award for Outstanding Matte Painting for Small- ville. Prior to joining The Mission, he was a free- lancer for 14 years at Method, A52, Rhythm & Hues Studios, MPC and Asylum. Brattesani is a graduate of the Academy of Art College. LOORAM BEN LOORAM Hollywood-based post studio Cinelicious has added to its visual effects creative and finishing services with the hiring of VFX supervisor/lead Flame artist Ben Looram. With his hiring, Looram and Cinelicious founder Paul Korver have also launched Cinelicious Take Out, offering tal- ent-driven pop-up style visual effects and color creative delivered to any location. As with set editing or shooting on location, Cinelicious Take Out provides the talent and technology regard- less of location. In the past, Looram engineered and built Flame bays and VFX studios for Animal West, Butcher Edit and Sway Studios; he also had long stints as a visual effects artist at studios Sea Level and A52.
