SPRING 2015 | wyoea.org 27 WEA TREASURER - Kimberly Amen I am an active member of the WEA and currently serving as the Southeast Region Representative to the board. In addition, I have been the co-chair of the CTEA Government Relations committee for the past 4 years. I have been responsible for budgets and monthly accounting for non-profits the past 14 years as both director and consultant for different programs. NEA DIRECTOR - Amy Simpson As your NEA Director I strive to put your voice in the room at the national level. It is imperative that the issues we face as a small state are communicated clearly and in turn that you are receiving information about the goings on at the NEA. Together we can grow education through conversation and action. NEA/RA State Delegate (Category 1) Judith Crow I am seeking re-election for NEA RA State Delegate. I am the current treasurer of CCEA and past secretary. I chaired the local CIT last summer, and I am returning to DA this spring. I am also on the state MACR committee. At Campbell County High, I am a para-educator, and I teach speech at Gillette College. Paulette Parente Hahn I have been an elementary teacher in Natrona County and a NEA member for sixteen years. I have served NCEA members as a building representative, a delegate to DA, a member of the NCEA Executive Board and a member of the Compact Issues Committee as well as various NCSD ad hoc committees. I enjoy representing my fellow educators and ESPs on the state and national level. Kimberly Amen I am an active member of the WEA and currently serve as the Southeast Region Representative to the board. I have been the co-chair of the CTEA Government Relations committee for the past 4 years, and served as a representative to both the Delegate Assembly and NEA Representative Assembly. I look forward to continuing to represent Wyoming educators. Jolyn Hallgren I am very proud of our association and all that we do! I would be honored to represent our state at the representative assembly. It is an awesome experience to be part of the highest decision making body in the NEA and I would love to be able to attend again! Sally Mack I've served Wyoming's teachers and the WEA for many years. I have a small school perspective that is representative of many of our Wyoming schools. I feel that I have leadership skills that are valuable and helpful as your delegate to the Representative Assembly. Your vote for Sally Mack will elect an experienced and knowledgeable delegate to represent you. NEA/RA State Delegate (Category 2) Meet the Candidates Bob McCarty I have been a member since 1999, WEA Board for 3+ terms as the ESP Representative, and 1 term as Southeast Region Representative. I am currently the Western Region Director for the NCESP. At present I have no national committee position, I am ESP/Building Representative at the local level and serve on the negotiations team.
